The History of Harper Revell
In 1961, Harper Revell started his career in the heating and air conditioning business with a job at a local company. Throughout his early career, he learned the ins and outs of the business before moving on to open Big Bend Heating and Air in 1982.
He started the business in his own home, with only one truck and $200 to his name — but the phones never rang.
After this, he decided to change the name of his company to something that the people of Tallahassee would recognize as his company, and chose his own name. Since he changed the name, the phones have not stopped ringing.
The mission of Harper Revell — both the man and the company — is to do what he and we say we will do and to always be a name that you can trust. This belief has kept us in business for more than 40 years. Harper Revell is no longer with us, but we use his experience of 52 years to guide the company and it is being carried on by his son Rodney Revell
